‘A poem to the end of the world as we know it’
2023
The work ‘is a contemplative and poetic response to processes such as the transmission of data, encoding of meaning into signals, as well as the various communication networks that exist within natural as well as constructed environments.
Here, touch and sound also act as computational interfaces for processing information; the transmission of signals has been re-imagined, resisting legibility through deliberate self-devised encoding systems. The work also contemplates systems of meaning-making and the implications of digital signal transmission.’
